Chulalongkorn University has launched the “Chula Spinoff” project to help drive Thailand in the post-Covid era.

According to university President Bundhit Eua-arporn, Chula Spinoff brings together researchers and over 50 start-up companies worth over 16 billion baht to adopt the findings of research, innovations, and other creations and use them as engines to help drive Thailand’s economy.

In order to boost an economy that has been severely damaged by the Covid-19 pandemic, Chula Spinoff looks to generate about 50 billion baht in three years through collaborations between all stakeholders.

Meanwhile, Jittima Luckanagul, head of the Chula Spinoff project, said the collaboration has already seen good feedback and more products will be soon introduced to the market.
