Kids can win 100,000 baht by creating the best video demonstrating why youths should wear motorcycle helmets.
The National Council on Social Welfare is concerned about the importance of wearing a helmet while riding a motorcycle, especially by young riders, so the organization is hosting a video clip competition to promote helmet use.
According to the council, not wearing a helmet is a cause of death that has been rising every year especially among youths under 15 years old.
The council is determined to raise awareness of the issue and is urging parents to put helmets on their kids, to help make it normal for everyone to wear a helmet anytime they go anywhere by motorcycle.
The video competition is especially aimed at students of any age, who are invited to submit a two-minute promotional video of helmet wearing by the young.
The winner will be awarded a certificate, a royal trophy and 100,000 baht.
