Thailand recorded six new Covid-19 cases Sunday, all Thais who returned from overseas and were already in state quarantine.
The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration said two new cases were an 8-year old student and a 35-year old maid back from Saudi Arabia on Sept. 5 and in quarantine in Bangkok. Both tested positive for coronavirus on Sept. 17.
Three others are students returned from Morocco on September 18. They passed the screening on arrival, but tested positive in tests later the same day.
The sixth case is a 38-year old man who arrived from Kuwait on Sept. 13 and entered state quarantine in Chonburi. He tested positive five days later.
Total infections in Thailand to date are 3,506, with 3,340 recoveries and 59 deaths.
