Thailand’s Department of Disease Control is enabling people to make appointments for Covid-19 tests using the QueQ mobile application.
DDC Director-General Dr. Opas Karnkawinpong said the app enables people to receive confirmation for a test the next day if they register between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
After submitting a queue request, applicants will receive a time for their test and must arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand. The app is available to download from both the Google Play store and Apple’s app store for free.
The DDC is offering the Covid-19 antigen tests at the Dhupateme Royal Thai Air Force Sports Stadium in Pathum Thani and at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok until the end of this month.
Mass testing at the Thai-Japan Bangkok Youth Center in Din Daeng District ended on July 23. Between July 12-22, 1,000 of the 10,000 tests conducted came back positive.
