Thailand reported only four quarantined cases of Covid-19, but many more are coming soon.
Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, spokesman for the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, said two of Friday’s cases were two Thai women who returned from Sudan and were in state quarantine in Samut Prakan.
The other two were masseuses who returned from the United Arab Emirates on June 13. They are under state quarantine in Bangkok.
The number of quarantined cases is expected to rise in coming day after the arrival Thursday of 361 more Thais from five countries. Thirteen of the passengers arrived with fevers and were immediately quarantined.
The death toll remained at 58. Out of all patients, 3,040 cases recovered and 64 others are being treated at hospitals.
