Police Told to Bring Additional Charges Against Tangmo’s Boatmates

Tangmo Speedboat Overboard Recklessness Charges

Nonthaburi’s attorney general told police to lay additional criminal charges against two speedboat companions of late actress Nida “Tangmo” Patcharaveerapong, alleging their recklessness caused her death.

Both Idsarin “Gatick” Juthasuksawat, manager for the late actress, and Nitas “Job” Kiratisoothisathorn were targeted for additional prosecution.

The provincial attorney, Supaporn Nipawanit, also ordered police to additionally charge Tanupat “Por” Lerttaweewit with the abuse of a psychotropic substance. Police were instructed to conduct additional interrogation accordingly.

Consequently, all five speedboat companions of Nida now face the charge of recklessness causing the death of the actress.

Earlier, Tanupat, the speedboat owner, admitted to taking alprazolam to treat his anxiety disorder.

Tangmo drowned after reportedly falling overboard from the speedboat in the Chao Phraya River in Nonthaburi on the night of Feb 24. Her body was found in the river two days afterwards.
