Bangkok will organize outdoor movie screenings next month to stimulate the economy and offer another source of free entertainment.
Gov. Chadchart Sittipunt discussed the project with city partners June 29.
Twenty-five movies will be screened and carefully selected to suit local tastes and be family friendly.
Movies will start on July 7 with “Dang Bireley’s and Young Gangsters” at the square in front of City Hall in Phra Nakhon District and “Bangkok Traffic Love Story” at the True Digital Park in Phra Khanong District.
On July 14, there will be “RRR” at the Klong Toei Youth Center in Klong Toei District and “4 Kings” at the Rod Fai Park in Chatuchak District.
On July 21, “Citizen Dog” will be screened at the Benjakitti Park in Klong Toei district and “Fast and Furious” at the Bang Khae Phirom Market in Bang Khae District.
