You really have to love Justin Bieber to pay 16,500 baht to see him live in Bangkok.
Clearly, Live Nation Tero and AEG Presents Asia think there are fans with more dollars than sense when they announced the Beeb’s Nov. 6 date at at Rajamangala National Stadium. Tickets start at 2,500 and top out at 16,500 baht.
The stadium he’ll play will be much enhanced by November, as new suites, seating and amenities are being added for the upcoming Manchester United-Liverpool Premier League football friendly.
The Bangkok stop initially was not part of the 28-year-old Canadian pop star’s world tour, but was added after Thailand continued to relax coronavirus restrictions.
The Southeast Asian leg of Bieber’s Justice World Tour starts in Kuala Lumpur on Oct. 22, with stops in Singapore Oct. 25 and two shows in Jakarta on Nov. 2 and 3.
The three-day gap will give Bieber time to hit Soi Cowboy, unless his wife objects, of course. He’ll head off to Japan afterward.
Bieber first appeared in Thailand in September 2013 when he was still just 17.
